Law on the Protection of Personal Data
Basic information regarding the protection of personal data transferred to the website of Türkerler Holding (such as name, surname, gender, age, date of birth, sector of employment, monthly income, mobile phone number, contact address, e-mail address, invoice, location/location data, spending preferences and habits, education level) is provided below.
These explanations are intended, within the framework of Türkerler Holding’s fulfillment of its obligation to inform under Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) in its capacity as Data Controller, to inform our customers who are data subjects and third parties who use our website and/or mobile applications regarding the purposes of processing personal data, legal grounds, methods of collection, to whom and for what purposes the data may be transferred, and the rights granted to the relevant persons under the KVKK.
The KVKK sets out the principles within the scope of personal data protection. In addition, Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce also contains provisions regarding the protection of personal data. Criminal sanctions are also prescribed in certain cases for the protection of personal data through the provisions of the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237.
The data provided by our customers who carry out transactions through our websites or mobile applications are processed by Türkerler Holding in accordance with our customers’ consent and the provisions of the legislation. The websites owned by Türkerler Holding use cookies. A cookie is a file, mostly consisting of letters and numbers, that is stored on the internet browser or hard disk of the device being used and enables the identification of that device. In order to provide better service to visitors of our websites and within the framework of its legal obligation, Türkerler Holding will collect, process, share with third parties, and securely store your browsing information, provided that it is not used outside the purposes and scope specified in this Statement on the Protection of Personal Data.

Purposes of Use of Your Personal Data

- To prepare all records and documents that will serve as the basis for transactions in electronic (internet/mobile, etc.) or paper environment,
- To provide information to public officials upon request and as required by legislation in matters relating to public security,
- To provide better service to our customers by informing them about projects that may be of interest to them, “taking into account our customers’ areas of interest,” and to communicate campaigns,
- To increase customer satisfaction,
- To evaluate customer complaints and suggestions regarding our services,
- To fulfill our legal obligations and exercise our rights arising from the legislation in force,
Personal data shared with Türkerler Holding is under the supervision and control of Türkerler Holding. As the data controller, Türkerler Holding has assumed responsibility for protecting the confidentiality and integrity of information in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation in force.
Within the framework of the purposes stated above, your personal data is processed based on the legal ground of obtaining the explicit consent of the data subject, as specified in Article 5/1 of the KVKK.
In this context, your personal data will be processed only within the framework of the purposes referred to above and, again within the scope of these purposes, will be shared with companies under the umbrella of Türkerler Holding and with domestic or foreign business partners with whom we have entered into confidentiality agreements, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the Law. Other than this, your personal data will not be transferred and/or disclosed to any third party in Türkiye or abroad.
Rights Arising from the KVKK
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, we would like to remind you that you have the right to learn whether your personal data has been processed; to request information if it has been processed; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred domestically or abroad; to request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly; to request deletion or destruction within the framework of the conditions set forth in Article 7 of the KVKK; to request notification to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred regarding the transactions carried out pursuant to the rights listed above, including the right to know such third parties and to request correction if the data is incomplete or incorrect; to object to the emergence of a result against you due to analysis exclusively by automated systems; and to request compensation for damages if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing in violation of the KVKK.
Pursuant to paragraph 1 of Article 13 of the KVKK, as the data subject, you may submit your requests regarding the rights specified above to the Data Controller in writing, within the framework of the principles set out in Article 5 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, via turkerlerinsaat@hs02.kep.tr or to Mustafa Kemal Mah. Dumlupınar Bulvarı B Blok Apt. No:274/7/67 Çankaya / ANKARA. In written applications, the applicant must send their request signed.
In line with the submitted request, your relationship with Türkerler Holding will be determined, and if applicable, your personal data processed by Türkerler Holding will be fully identified; your relevant application will be answered accurately and free of charge within 30 days at the latest. If the transaction requires an additional cost, the fee specified in the relevant legislation or in the tariff determined by the Board may be charged by us.
In order to eliminate legal risks that may arise from unlawful and unfair data sharing, to ensure the security of your personal data, and to verify that the applicant is the relevant person, Türkerler Holding reserves the right to request your personal information or additional documents and information (copy of identity card or driver’s license, etc.) for identity and authorization verification. If the information regarding your submitted requests is not accurate and up to date or if an unauthorized application is made, Türkerler Holding does not accept responsibility for requests arising from such incorrect information or unauthorized application.
